The story of Tenute Gregu began in 2011 when Raffaele, together with his father and brother, embarked on this winemaking journey. The estate spans 50 hectares of land, of which 30 are vineyards. The primary focus is on producing Vermentino di Gallura DOCG, with 25 hectares dedicated to Vermentino and 5 hectares planted with red varieties, including native grapes like Cannonau, Carignano, and Muristellu, alongside international varieties such as Merlot and Syrah. The vineyards are rooted in a decomposed granite terrain, enhanced by the presence of three lakes, which create a unique microclimate ideal for viticulture. The estate dedicates 90% of its efforts to fieldwork, with the remaining 10% focused on winemaking, fully respecting the natural characteristics of the land. The approach is to preserve the purity of the grapes and allow the terroir to shine through in each wine. Tenute Gregu wines are distributed worldwide, and the estate continues to grow, guided by a commitment to quality. The wine tourism experience, known as the Tenute Gregu Experience, invites visitors to explore the estate and learn about the winemaking philosophy. Tastings, often held on a ridge overlooking one of the lakes, are accompanied by modern takes on locally sourced products, offering guests a memorable and immersive experience.

(Winery in Sassari)

Provides 2 wine tastings and winery visit from €35.00
Tenute Filigheddu Winery is a young, family-run estate in the heart of Gallura, with vineyards stretching between Arzachena and Palau. The story of the winery began in 2005 with the planting of the first vines in Caldosa, a picturesque countryside location in Arzachena, where an ancient Gallurese stazzo from the 1800s stands as a testament to the deep connection with the land. In 2014, the estate expanded with new vineyards in Stazzo Pulcheddu, an area suspended between land and sea, constantly caressed by the Mistral wind, which imparts character and minerality to the grapes. That same year, in Palau, an old stable was transformed into a modern winery, where tradition and innovation come together to create wines that reflect the authenticity of the territory. In 2017, the estate embarked on a journey towards sustainable agriculture, and starting from the 2019 harvest, obtained organic certification, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation. Today, the vineyards extend over rolling hills immersed in Mediterranean scrub, producing organically certified wines—the result of a viticulture that respects nature and a meticulous focus on quality. Every stage of cultivation and winemaking follows a minimal intervention approach, aimed at preserving the natural balance of the soil and enhancing the purest expression of the terroir. In Palau, on a hill overlooking the vineyards and the La Maddalena archipelago, the winery welcomes guests for tastings in an intimate and evocative setting, accompanied by a selection of local delicacies that enhance the identity of the region.

“If being a Homo sapiens sapiens means looking but not observing, eating but not tasting, hearing but not listening, smelling but not enjoying a scent… well then, I am proud to be a Homo sapiens sapiens and nothing more. I feel myself an animal just like the other animals. Part of planet earth and of the universe. I want to be an animal with that minimum of rationality necessary for my free will. That is why I make wine… it is the method I know for making me feel what I am: instinctually an animal.” “I do not follow the market; I make wines that please me, wine of my own local area, wines of Sennori. They are what they have to be and not what you want them to be.” Alessandro Dettori – 1998 – Winegrowers, artisans of wine and of the earth

La Neula

La Neula was born in 2008 thanks to the idea of the owner Andrea, who decided to recover some of the property of the family inherited by his mother in Telti. Born and raised in Milan, he kept a strong bond with his origins and, as soon as he had the chance, he created his little reality intending to give a new life to the territory of his family, and in the meantime to showcase Italian and foreign tourists the values of the traditions of Gallura. The lands are ideal for the production of Vermentino and Cannonau and, being in one of the eleven towns of Gallura, Vermentino can pride itself on DOCG. In addition, the company has a little production of extra virgin oil especially of Myrtle liqueur, produced following accurately the family’s recipe. Found in the heart of Gallura, La Neula is located in Telti, elevated at 360 meters above sea level, with a view of the islands of Tavolara and Molara, absorbed in the Mediterranean scrub. Thanks to the proximity to the sea, the vineyards feel the effects of the coast, giving Vermentino of Gallura a pronounced stroke of minerality, sharpened by the clay and granite fields as well. The company’s soul is based on the production and commercialization of products typical of the tradition of Sardinia, combined with a family-run business, where it is possible to find tradition and authenticity thanks to the techniques of harvest and processing. The goal of the company is to intensify production in the next years, still following the typicity of the territory and the traditions of the products.

Tenuta Asinara
(Winery in Sassari)
