About the Wines

At Terre del Bruno, our vineyards span over 14 hectares, positioned at an average altitude of 400 meters above sea level, with ideal exposures that allow for the cultivation of both traditional Tuscan and international grape varieties. The essence of Chianti, Sangiovese, is the backbone of our wines, lending structure, body, and a unique character. With time, Sangiovese evolves from an austere, slightly tannic young wine into an elegant, refined expression of this noble grape.

Our vineyards are home to a rich variety of grapes, including traditional Chianti varieties like Canaiolo and Colorino, alongside white grapes such as Trebbiano and Malvasia del Chianti. In addition, we grow international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, which adds strength and personality, Merlot, known for its softness and elegance, and Alicante, which brings a vibrant color to our wines.

The most distinguished vineyards of Terre del Bruno include Nappolaio and Le More Nere. Nappolaio, the oldest vineyard, is exposed to the south, with soil rich in galestro, producing the namesake wine. Le More Nere is dedicated solely to Merlot, planted in tuffaceous soil, yielding wines of exceptional character and depth. Each bottle from Terre del Bruno is a tribute to the land, crafted with passion and expertise, and a true reflection of the Chianti region’s winemaking tradition.
