Located on the rolling hills of the Marche region, just a short distance from the Adriatic Sea, Vigna degli Estensi benefits from the perfect combination of soil and climate, ensuring high-quality wines under the prestigious Lacrima di Morro d'Alba, Rosso Piceno, and Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC/DOCG designations.
The winery was born from the passion of Stefano, a geologist turned sommelier and oenologist, who pursued his dream of winemaking. Together with his wife and sister-in-law, he founded Vigna degli Estensi, a name inspired by Ferrara, the former capital of the Este dynasty and the birthplace of the founders.
The winery’s mission is twofold: to craft high-quality wines while promoting sustainability and environmental respect. Eco-friendly technologies are used throughout production, and the estate is currently undergoing organic certification, reinforcing its commitment to responsible winemaking.
The vineyards of Vigna degli Estensi thrive in an area with exceptional terroir, where the influence of the Adriatic Sea and the diverse soil composition contribute to the distinct character of the wines. The estate specializes in renowned local varieties, producing both still and sparkling wines that showcase the rich winemaking heritage of the Marche region.
