Villa Franciacorta
About the Winery
Villa Franciacorta is a family-owned winery deeply rooted in the heart of Franciacorta, where wine has shaped the landscape and culture for centuries. The estate is centered around a carefully restored medieval village, featuring elegant apartments, a swimming pool, and a restaurant, offering guests an immersive experience where hospitality and wine culture naturally come together. Historic cellars and the surrounding vineyards reflect a long agricultural tradition and a profound respect for the land.
The family behind Villa Franciacorta was among the founding pioneers of Franciacorta, contributing from the very beginning to the definition and growth of the denomination. Today, the winery is run by the third generation, who continue this legacy with the same dedication and vision. The philosophy of Villa Franciacorta is based on patience, craftsmanship, and authenticity. All wines are produced exclusively as vintage Franciacorta, allowing each year to express its unique character. Long aging on the lees, careful vineyard management, and meticulous attention to detail define the daily work of a close-knit family team. Villa Franciacorta thus represents a place where history, innovation, and passion converge to create wines of depth, elegance, and a strong sense of identity.
About the Wines
Villa Franciacorta produces exclusively vintage Franciacorta wines, crafted from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc grown solely on estate-owned vineyards. Each wine is the result of a precise selection of grapes and long aging periods, often far exceeding the minimum requirements, to enhance complexity, structure, and balance.
The wines are characterized by elegance, freshness, and a strong connection to the territory, with a focus on expressing the identity of each vintage rather than pursuing uniformity. Extended lees aging, low yields, and meticulous winemaking allow Villa Franciacorta to create refined sparkling wines with depth, longevity, and a distinctive personality, reflecting both the uniqueness of the land and the family’s uncompromising commitment to quality.
