We are Vinar, a young winery founded in 2014 with the desire to proudly showcase our knowledge and passion for vineyard cultivation and wine production. Our work is built upon the centuries-old winemaking heritage of the Barbenik family, passed down from generation to generation.

The Vinar family is among the oldest continuously active winemaking families in Ilok. Winemaking is not just our profession — it is our identity, our tradition, and our way of life.

We take great joy in what we do, and we are confident that our pride — our wines — will be recognized, as they embody all the essential elements: tradition, knowledge, nature, and love.

Vinar produces all its wines in a traditional way in oak barrels and in a 400-year-old wine cellar. The estate's wine varieties are Graševina (Italic Riesling), Traminer, and Pinot Noir. Vinar cultivates 2,6 acres of vineyards, and for 3 years we have been an organic grape grower. It is a small family winery, producing around 15.000 bottles per year.
