About Winery and Wines
A property of approximately 9 hectares, with 2.5 hectares planted with red grape varieties and 1.5 hectares with white.
This is a family-run project that began in 2020, founded by Norberto Herdeiro and his wife, Mónica Pires, driven by a passion to create wines that capture the authenticity of the local terroir.In 2024, the project expanded into wine tourism, offering guided tours and tastings on the estate. Visitors are invited to discover not only the wines themselves, but also the stories behind the Vinhas de Nexe and the rich rural heritage of the surrounding region.
Our wines are the true expression of the unique terroir and warm, sunny climate of the Algarve — and above all, they are our greatest pride.
Each vineyard is tended with personalized care and close attention, ensuring that every stage of the process is guided by a commitment to excellence. Grape selection takes place at the time of harvest, with only the highest-quality fruit beginning the winemaking journey.
