About the Winery
"I Vini del Cavaliere" is a family-run winery in Paestum, deeply rooted in tradition yet forward-looking. The journey began over fifty years ago with Francesco Cavaliere’s dedication to crafting fine wine. Today, the third generation, led by Giovanni, continues this legacy with the same passion for wine and the Capaccio-Paestum region. Our mission is to promote our territory through craftsmanship, passion, and attention to detail, producing wines that honor both our heritage and the future.
About the Wines
At the heart of "I Vini del Cavaliere" lies our cellar, where tradition meets modernity in the stunning Paestum landscape. Here, we produce seven unique wines, a sparkling wine, a liqueur, and a distillate. Our meticulous approach ensures each process—from fermentation to aging—is handled with care, producing wines that truly reflect the soul of our land. Whether you're enjoying a robust red or a refined sparkling wine, every bottle is a testament to our commitment to quality and our love for the region.

Perfect
The characteristics of the soil and the plants were explained to us.
Afterwards we went to the workshop where they explained the entire winemaking process, for both red and white wine, from the grape harvest to the bottling.
All the explanations were detailed and complete.
Finally the tasting began in a well-kept location.
The wines we tried were two: the Fiano and the Aglianico.
The wines were accompanied respectively by bruschetta with anchovies and salmon and by a large platter of local cured meats and cheeses.
Finally they also had us try one of the liqueurs of their own production.
Everything was truly excellent.
Another positive note: I had advised them of the presence of a person with celiac disease and they had provided gluten-free bread.
Overall we were extremely satisfied.
