Welcome to Weingut Sans-Lorch, a family business spanning three generations. This means living and working together. Our common goal is to make good wines. Our vision: to pass on the culture and joie de vivre of Rheinhessen. Let yourself be inspired.

Our winery is located in Nackenheim am Rhein, in the Rheinhessen wine-growing region. Here we cultivate six hectares of vineyards, from whose grapes we produce our own wines.

Wine can be drunk, but we would like to invite you to experience wine. We look forward to welcoming you to our vaulted cellar and garden! We would be delighted to welcome you to our wine tavern, where we offer a variety of snacks from the winemaker's kitchen and hold wine tastings. 

Weingut Sans-Lorch makes wines that are a joy to drink. Wines that make you want to open a second bottle as soon as the first is empty. Two generations of winemakers (father Christian and daughter Jasmin) are working hand in hand to produce two different styles of wines: the Estate wines and the Premium wines.

Estate wines:

White wines: Refreshing. Fruity. Easy to drink.

Fruity, lively wines with a clear varietal character. This is the style that runs through all our estate wines. Riesling may be the calling card of our Nackenheim vineyards, but our Burgundy varieties (Pinot Gris, Chardonnay) are also impressive. If you prefer something more aromatic, try our Sauvignon Blanc or Gewürztraminer! Our range includes wines with varying degrees of residual sweetness – so there's something for every taste!

Red wines: Aromatic. Full-bodied. Delicious.

Red grapes fermented on the skins produce red wines rich in color and tannins – when pressed directly, only a hint of color creeps into the juice and we refer to these as “lightly pressed” wines: rosé or blanc de noir. The liveliness of this type of wine is more reminiscent of a white wine, making it a special treat when well chilled in summer. We like to use the Schwarzriesling and St. Laurent varieties for this. The latter produces a red wine with a berry aroma and gentle tannins. Regent is equally fruity, and we have it in our range with varying degrees of residual sweetness. Our red wine cuvée “En scheene Obend” combines fruitiness with power, offering everything it needs to live up to the promise of its name.

This is how elegant wines of the highest quality are created. Young winemaker Jasmin puts her heart and soul into this line, playing with wooden barrels, spontaneous fermentation, and new ideas.
