Weingut Stefan Potzinger

Weingut Potzinger is a family-owned winery in Southern Styria dating back to 1860, with more than 160 years of winemaking tradition. We are dedicated to crafting natural, region-typical wines of the highest quality.

Our main focus lies on Sauvignon Blanc, complemented by Pinot Blanc, Muscat, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, and more. We cultivate around 20 hectares of vineyards along the South Styrian Wine Road and in the Sausal region.

Behind the scenes, a passionate team brings our vision to life:
Cellar master Hans-Peter Wippel, our vineyard team, two dedicated apprentices, as well as a good team in marketing and administration.
Stefan’s parents, Maria and Herbert, continue to support us with experience, advice, and a helping hand whenever needed.

Driven by innovation, tradition, and a deep respect for nature, we craft wines that authentically express our region and family heritage.

The philosophy of Weingut Potzinger is simple: the best wines come from the best grapes.

Our vineyards extend across more than 200 km² throughout Southern Styria. We hand-harvest our grapes, primarily at the Kabinett level, and craft dry white wines with excellent aging potential.
