Private Amarone Grand Tour from Lake Garda with Tastings & Lunch

Your private, full-day tour begins with pickup from your accommodation on Lake Garda. An English-speaking driver will take you into the heart of Valpolicella, one of Italy’s most famous wine regions.

The first stop is a traditional winery, where the estate’s hospitality team will welcome you and introduce you to the local winemaking process. The visit concludes with a guided tasting of four wines, including Valpolicella DOC, Valpolicella Ripasso DOC, and Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG. The wines are served with a board of local cheeses and cured meats, such as Monte Veronese and soppressa.

Next, you’ll sit down for lunch at Antica Osteria Paverno, a traditional restaurant. The meal includes an appetizer, your choice of a first course or a main course, and dessert. First-course options may include risotto all’Amarone or handmade tagliatelle with mushrooms. A glass of local wine, water, and coffee are also included.

In the afternoon, the tour continues to a second, family-run winery. This visit offers a chance to discover how different terroirs and techniques shape the wines of Valpolicella. You’ll enjoy a tasting of at least four wines, again paired with local cheeses and cured meats.

At the end of the day, your driver will take you back to your accommodation on Lake Garda.
