Off-Road Jeep Tour with Lunch & Wine Tasting at Castello Monterinaldi in Chianti Classico

Your four-hour experience begins aboard a 4x4, driven by a specialized off-road guide. For two hours, you will travel along private trails through the Castello Monterinaldi estate, reaching panoramic viewpoints in the Chianti Classico hills that are otherwise inaccessible. Your guide will point out details of the landscape, explaining the region's history and its agricultural traditions. The off-road tour also operates in rainy weather. In fact, driving over wet terrain can make the adventure even more exciting.

About three-quarters of the way through the tour, you'll stop at a scenic spot for a picnic. The basket includes a bottle of Brut rosé sparkling wine, crispy schiacciatina flatbread, and Parmigiano Reggiano.

The experience continues with a guided visit to Castello di Monterinaldi’s historic cellar, led by a member of the hospitality team. You’ll learn about the estate’s organic winemaking process and the care that goes into every bottle produced.

The visit concludes at one of the historic rooms of Villa Pesanella, a restored 19th-century residence, with a full four-course lunch. The menu, varying depending on the season, features traditional Tuscan dishes, such as:
- Mixed appetizer with prosciutto crudo, salami, finocchiona, Pecorino, Parmigiano, and bruschetta
- Fresh egg tagliatelle with beef ragù
- A meat main course with a side dish
- Extra virgin olive oil and orange cake.

The meal is paired with a tasting of three of the estate's organic wines: an IGT red from Sangiovese and Merlot, a Chianti Classico DOCG, and a Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG. For younger participants, a dedicated children's menu is available, with the estate's organic grape juice served instead of wine.
