Private Champagne Tour from Reims with Moët & Chandon and a Family Grower
Here is what's in store for you
Your tour begins when your guide, Raphael de Vasconcellos, picks you up from your hotel. A licensed guide with over seven years of experience in the region, Raphael will lead you on a scenic drive through the vineyards of the Marne River Valley.
Your first destination is Épernay, home to the renowned Champagne House Moët & Chandon. An in-house guide will lead you through the historic cellars, followed by a tasting of two of their Champagnes. Afterwards, you’ll have time to explore the Avenue de Champagne, lined with prestigious producers, and enjoy a lunch break at a restaurant of your choice. Raphael can provide recommendations.
In the afternoon, drive back into the vineyards for a photo stop, then visit Hautvillers, where the monk Dom Pérignon is buried. The day concludes with a visit to a family-run grower Champagne estate. In the estate’s tasting room, you’ll learn about its artisanal approach to winemaking and taste three cuvées that express the character of the local terroir. Raphael will then drive you back to your hotel.

Where we are and how to reach us
For those not using the hotel pickup, the meeting point is the Reims train station forecourt (Gare de Reims). If you are arriving from Paris, direct trains run daily from Paris Est station to Reims Centre. Please plan your journey to arrive in time for the tour.
