Bonzara Experience at Tenuta Bonzara in the Bologna Hills

I went with my dad to have this beautiful experience at the Bonzara estate.
To call it a tasting experience, in my opinion, is limiting, since it is not just about tasting the excellent wines that the company offers, but rather an experience that, for those who love this sort of thing, transcends the mere "final tasting," offering much more.
The staff, cordial, kind, and competent, takes you on a journey to discover what are (and have been) the dream, the desire, the gambles, and the achievements that can be admired today and that are the supporting foundations of the business.
You enter the mentality of those who carry on this enterprise every day, starting from the rows of vines that can be admired on the hillsides, thus learning the methods with which the vineyard is cared for, then moving on to the fermentation area, with accompanying explanations of how the grapes are treated according to the type of wine and what one wants to obtain, and finally ending up in the bottling department, with a small digression on the barrique department reserved for the more "important" wines.
It is only at this point that you get to the tasting of the products, which gives us practical feedback on what until that moment we could only admire with our eyes and imagination, thus allowing us to savor and smell those wines which, I can guarantee you, are excellent.
It's an experience I highly recommend.

A really nice experience. Very kind, very knowledgeable people. We took a tour of the estate, learned about the various winemaking techniques, and then finished with a tasting of their wines. Very good. The estate is located in the Bolognese hills, with a beautiful view. I recommend this experience.
