Private Half-Day Bosnian Food & Wine Tour from Dubrovnik

Departing from Dubrovnik, you will reach the Bosnian border in approximately 20 minutes (please allow 5–20 minutes for the border crossing). After a scenic drive through the inland countryside and Friar’s Field, you will arrive in the charming town of Trebinje.

The experience begins with a drive up to Gračanica Hill, offering panoramic views over the city. Here, your guide will introduce the geography of the region and highlight the locations you will explore throughout the day. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Orthodox Monastery of Gračanica (free of charge).

Next, continue to the 15th-century Orthodox Monastery of Tvrdoš, where monks have been producing wine for centuries. You will explore the historic cellars and enjoy a tasting of their wines, while learning about the monastery’s history and the monks’ way of life.

Afterward, head to the center of Trebinje for a short guided walk through its historic Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman quarters.

The journey continues with a visit to a family-owned winery in the surrounding area, where you will taste local wines, brandies, and traditional products such as prosciutto, fritters, and cream cheese, all presented by the owner.

Finally, you will travel to the nearby village of Tuli, where a traditional family-run restaurant awaits. Here, you will enjoy a delicious two-course meal paired with local wine and liqueurs.

After the experience, return to Dubrovnik (approximately 40–60 minutes, depending on border traffic), arriving back at your accommodation in the early evening.
