Here is what's in store for you

Welcome to Sassodisole Winery. Winemakers for generations, the Terzuoli family has been engaged in the production of wines from the seventeenth century, passing wisdom and experience through the generations. The family owns ten hectares of vineyards cultivated entirely with Sangiovese Grosso in the northeastern part of Montalcino, within the UNESCO park of Val d’Orcia.

The experience includes:
- Warm welcome at the winery and presentation of the Terzuoli family;
- Explanation of the location of the SassodiSole winery - within the territory of Montalcino and in the UNESCO Natural Park of Val d' Orcia;
- Visit to the winemaking cellar and explanation of fermentation and aging processes in steel;
- Visit to the barrel cellar with an explanation of the peculiarities of aging in large barrels, presentation of SassodiSole labels and wines;

The experience ends in the comfortable tasting room of Sassodisole for a tasting of 3 wines:
- Rosé Sparkling Wine
- Orcia Sangiovese DOC
- Brunello di Montalcino DOCG

Siamo stati all’azienda sassodisole per fare una degustazione di 3 vini tipici della zona ed è stata un’esperienza fantastica! Tommaso ci ha guidato prima nella cantina spiegandoci tutto il processo che parte dall’uva all’imbottigliamento per poi passare nella sala dove abbiamo provato i vini, uno meglio dell’altro!
Super consigliato sia per la qualità dei prodotti che per il servizio informale e disponibile!
Consiglio anche l’acquisto dei prodotti direttamente dopo la degustazione, per portare a casa questa esperienza sotto tutti i punti di vista.

L'esperienza a Sasso di sole
Se abbinate la degustazione ad una serata nella zona, Montalcino, Siena o nel Chianti passerete senz'altro uno fine settimana in Toscana che dimenticherete difficilmente!

In un bel pomeriggio di sole di novembre ho avuto il piacere di fare una bella sorpresa al mio compagno. Entrambi siamo rimasti stupiti positivamente della cantina Sassodisole. Siamo stati accolti dal signor Roberto con gentilezza e professionalità spiegandoci la storia e la mission a partire dal grappolo d'uva per arrivare poi al prodotto finale. Ambiente pulito e curato nei dettagli. Abbiamo fatto degustazione di tre vini accompagnati da tagliere di salumi formaggi e crostini con dell'ottimo olio di loro produzione. È stata un'esperienza indimenticabile speriamo di tornarci quanto prima

Tomaso was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the wine (and food) were delicious. Could not have been a nicer experience. It was so interesting to learn about the production process, the wine, and the region, while in beautiful surroundings.

We had a lovely time at our wine tasting. The gentleman we worked with was quite knowledgable and willing to take the time to showcase the techniques that make up the variety of wines from the region. Our wines were shipped and arrived promptly and on time for a party that we had suggested we would want to throw. We enjoyed replicating our wine experience for 12 of our friends over multicourse dinner and tasting menu. Thanks so much. It was excellent.
