'Capitel della Crosara' Amarone Wine Tasting at Montresor Wines

Since 1892, when the Giacomo Montresor Winery was founded, its days have been dedicated to understanding and expressing Valpolicella, an area that has always been committed to viticulture. 

With this tasting, you will have the opportunity to discover Montresor Wines' story through the selection of 5 vintages of Amarone Classico DOCG from the last 20 years, chosen to make you understand how different seasons can influence the vineyard and the wine with such different organoleptic expressions in their excellence.

Your experience will begin with a tour of the winery, located just a stone's throw from the center of Verona: you'll visit the winery plant where the grapes are crushed and fermented, the loft where the grapes dry for Amarone, and finally the historic barrel for aging red wines.

After the tour, you will begin by tasting the last bottled vintage, to then embark on a journey that will take you back in time to some of our oldest vintages, comparing the result in light of the weather conditions that characterized the vineyard from flowering to harvest. In total you will taste:

To complete the experience, you can choose to accompany the tasting with a selection of gastronomic delicacies from the territory, such as cold cuts refined in Amarone and Recioto wine.
