The Montresor Winery welcomes you for an unforgettable journey into the heart of Valpolicella, a land of fine wines, history, and timeless charm. Hospitality is at the very core of Montresor’s philosophy – get ready to enjoy an authentic and immersive tasting experience.

Your visit will take you through every corner of the winery: from the crushing and fermentation area to the ancient fruttaio where the grapes slowly dry, and finally into the underground cellars, where Montresor’s great wines rest and mature in oak barrels.

The tour concludes with a guided tasting of five wines, each carefully selected to express the soul and tradition of Valpolicella:

- Lugana DOC Satinato
- Valpolicella DOC Classico “Capitel della Crosara”
- Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso DOC “Castelliere delle Guaite”
- Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG
- Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG “Riserva”.

To complete your experience, you can choose to pair the tasting with a selection of local cured meats.

Non conoscevo le cantine Montresor prima della visita e ne sono rimasta entusiasta! Bellissimo percorso di visita: l'allestimento museale è fatto davvero bene, con il plus del ragazzo che ci ha accompagnati con il racconto della storia delle cantine molto coinvolgente. La degustazione di vini è stata eccezionale, atmosfera rilassante, e l'amarone è davvero straordinario!

Tasting of Typical Wines at Montresor

We enjoyed our wine tasting experience at Montresor Winery. First of all, we were greeted warmly by the staff. Then we learned a lot about the winery and Valpolicella during the tour which was given by a very knowledgeable guide. Finally, the wines we tried were all good, paired well with the various cheeses and cured meats provided. The experience broadened our wine and food pairing knowledge.

Wonderful experience!

We’ve had a wonderful afternoon at Montresor. In Valpolicella. A warm welcome with a cup of good strong Italian coffee, a guided tour tlby an expert-host with interesting stories about history, wine making and marketing. We’ve seen the wine archive and could try to find out the different scents of fruit and herbs in the wine. And, as the cherry on the cake, such a delicious tasting, with the best of their wines and the best regional cheeses and ham. We really felt special, that afternoon. Thank you, people of Montresor!
