Cipresso 43° Project Wine Tasting at Roberto Cipresso in Montalcino
Here is what's in store for you
Your experience begins at the Roberto Cipresso winery, where a member of the staff—and sometimes Roberto Cipresso himself—will welcome you. You'll be introduced to the vision behind Cipresso 43°, a project that explores wine as a universal language connecting different terroirs along the 43rd parallel north.
The visit continues into the winery’s production area, aging cellar, and barrel room. Here, you will learn about Roberto Cipresso's approach to winemaking, which combines experimentation, balance, and a deep respect for the terroir.
After the tour, you will take a seat in the tasting room for a guided tasting of six wines from the Cipresso 43° line, accompanied by water and breadsticks. Each glass represents a symbolic stop along the 43rd parallel, from Georgia to Oregon. The tasting includes:
• Altrove – Sparkling Rosé of Sangiovese
• Punto Bianco – Vermentino & Verdicchio
• Punto Rosa – Sangiovese
• Punto Rosso – Sangiovese & Montepulciano d'Abruzzo
• Pigreco – Sangiovese
• La Quadratura del Cerchio – Sangiovese, Sagrantino & Montepulciano d'Abruzzo
This tasting offers a cultural and sensory exploration of a contemporary winemaking philosophy, centered on a project inspired by geography and terroir.
