Your experience at Roberto Cipresso's winery in Montalcino begins with a welcome from a member of the staff, and occasionally from Roberto Cipresso himself. You will be guided on a tour through the production area, aging cellar, and barrel room, learning about the relationship between the Sangiovese grape and the Montalcino territory, along with Roberto's approach to winemaking.

The tour continues in the tasting room for a guided, comparative tasting of five Sangiovese wines. You will sample:

- Altrove, a Sangiovese Sparkling Rosé
- Rosso di Montalcino, first vintage
- Rosso di Montalcino, second vintage
- Brunello di Montalcino, first vintage
- Brunello di Montalcino, second vintage

By comparing two different vintages of both Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino, you will explore the evolution of Sangiovese over time. This vertical tasting allows you to perceive the differences in freshness, structure, and complexity, providing a clear understanding of how vintage and aging influence the final wine.

Visit with tasting
In our lives we have done a few winery visits, even prestigious ones, but this isn't a visit, it's THE visit!
Wonderful location and a barrage of emotions to experience.
The museum of artifacts and terroirs catapulted us to the places where wine is born and the feeling was incredible.
First and foremost, we thank Matteo who accompanied us with great seriousness, friendliness, and professionalism.
Thanks also to those who welcomed us with elegance and made us feel like guests and not customers.
The final thanks go to Roberto, a wonderful person and a professional who loves his work.
He involved us in his memories and gifted us with some of the millions of stories that only wine can give to those who love it.
We hope to have the chance to cross paths again, maybe in winter around one of those magnificent outdoor braziers, to listen to the stories and enjoy the pleasure of wine.
