Clay & Limestone is a fantastic and exclusive wine experience, a journey through the old vintages of Cantine Polvanera.
The vines located in Acquaviva delle Fonti are characterized by two different soil types, clay and limestone, which can be felt in the glass with multiple scents. This is an unmissable experience for those who want to understand the evolution of Cantine Polvanera's Primitivo.
After a welcome glass of sparkling wine, you will be taken on a tour of the cellar. Next, you will enjoy a tasting of 4 vintage wines and 2 current vintages. The wines will be accompanied by a typical Apulian lunch consisting of samples of typical local products like cereal frise with garlic and tomato sauce, garnished with cherry tomatoes and arugula, zucchini and mint frittata, capocollo and cheese; a seasonal second course, and a dessert.
