Azienda Agricola Plantamura
(Weingut in Gioia del Colle)

The Azienda Agricola Plantamura is a dream come true for us. Ours is the story about a family that has found its own way over time. We were among the first to conceive organic viticulture, certified since 1996. We were lucky enough because we have listened to our father’s stories. He transmitted to us the value of work, showed us love for a vine, sacrifice in the vineyards, and strength of people who want to make their farm and land great. From these stories we thought about starting a supply chain, back in 2002: from cultivation to sale, from family lands to fairs. Thanks to these stories, we work daily behaving like our grandfather, planting over and over again.

Tenuta Patruno Perniola
(Weingut in Gioia del Colle)

The Tenuta Patruno Perniola was founded at the beginning of the 19th century on a suggestive hill (350 mt. AMSL) near Gioia Del Colle in the center of the Murgia terroir, a karst plateau in the center of Apulia. The beating heart of the estate, 100% certified as organic is represented by the historic family “Masseria”, recently refurbished and turned into an agro touristic hotel The passion for winemaking has been handed down through several generations, preserving and enriching the features of the most important local wine variety, the Primitivo di Gioia del Colle. The vineyard, cured with traditional techniques is on the side of the manor farm and is exposed to sun, wind flow, and important thermic excursions. These are the so-called “Red Lands”, calcareous soil rich in ferrous minerals which give the typical rusty color to the soil. Grapes are carefully selected in the vineyards and the cellar treatments are never invasive and don’t interfere with the full aromatic expression of the wines we produce, whose main characteristics are sophistication and elegance. Apiculture, rich biodiversity, and strictly organic farming and production techniques confirm our full respect for the environment.

Fatalone
(Weingut in Gioia del Colle)

We look at vines and wines like people and give them all the best we could desire for ourselves. We give them care through our daily attention and loving presence on the vineyards in respect of the utmost artisanal winemaking traditions. We provide a fresh and comfortable environment through the soundproofing of the premises and temperature control; tranquillity and harmony by applying music therapy in the cellar, a mix of classical music and sounds from nature to support the micro oxygenation and the activity of the living micro flora present in our natural wines. This mix is the key to our success. We took great care in choosing the soil that became the home of our vineyards and made the conscious decision to plant them all around our winery. We wanted to be near our vines daily and be able to take the fresh picked grapes immediately into the cellar during the harvesting to preserve the top quality of the grapes for winemaking. This is our way to make a truly locally grown product. We carefully chose the wild-vines, the growing system and the pruning most suitable for our vines, to give life to our belief in absolute quality combining this with our strong will to vinify just on our own organic autochthonous grapes and bottle our entire organic wine production. We believe the success of a wine has to start from the roots of the vine by choosing all the best for the fruit of our labour, at any sacrifice, to create a very limited production of the highest quality.
