Monfrà wurde 2016 von Sara Leila Castagnella und Paolo Cirio gegründet, zwei Neo-Winzern, die ihre Karrieren in der Kunst hinter sich gelassen haben, um ihrer Leidenschaft für den Weinbau nachzugehen. Das Weingut liegt inmitten der sanften Hügel des Monferrato, das von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe erklärt wurde, und verbindet die Kreativität der Kunst mit der zeitlosen Tradition der Weinherstellung. Monfrà ist ein vier Hektar großer Biobetrieb, der Weinberge, Wälder, Obstgärten und einen Gemüsegarten umfasst. Das Weingut hat sich der Herstellung von Bioweinen verschrieben und respektiert dabei die Natur und die Tradition. Es bietet einen ruhigen Rückzugsort für Weinliebhaber und Reisende, die Authentizität und Innovation suchen.

Hic et Nunc, was auf Lateinisch "Hier und Jetzt" bedeutet, ist ein Weingut mit Sitz in Vignale Monferrato. Die Familie Rosolen hat das Land im Jahr 2012 wiederbelebt und sich dabei auf das reiche Erbe des Weinbaus konzentriert. Das Weingut hat die seit den 1920er Jahren bestehenden Weinberge rehabilitiert und neu bepflanzt. Hic et Nunc verbindet moderne Techniken mit Tradition und schafft so einen Ort, der das Terroir des Monferrato feiert und gleichzeitig ein einzigartiges Gastfreundschaftserlebnis im Ca' dell'Ebbro Weinresort bietet.

The Farm The vineyards cover 18 ha and are in high positions and well exposed to sunlight. The ground is white, limestone, consisting of marine sediments rich in fossil shells. The Gaudio family owns 18 ha of vineyards located in high positions with excellent exposure to sunlight. The limestone soil is ideal for growing vines which give high quality grape because of its mineral elements richness. Tradition The Gaudio family has produced wines in Vignale Monferrato for generations and has always vinified its grape production. Originally, the resulting wine was sold in bulk through buyers, distributors and directly from the winery. The turning point came in 1973 when Amilcare Gaudio built a new and well-equipped cellar. After this the wine has been sold only in bottles to customers such as wine bars, restaurants, importers and directly to customers. The cellar The position of the winery is described as “Bricco” in Italian which means “ top of the hill”. From the panoramic terrace you can enjoy a wonderful view over the hills and villages of Monferrato to the Alps in the north-west (Monviso, Monte Rosa, Cervino). The cellar is well equipped with temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to ensure optimum vinification and wine storage conditions, as well as French oak barrels for aging. The cellar-door Gaudio family has been one of the first wineries in Monferrato with a tasting room. The first one has been a tiny and rustic room with a capacity up to 12 people. From January 2012, beside the old room, has been realized a new wine tasting room. Equipped of a video projector, a bar and facing on the barrels, this room has been set for wine tastings and conferences of about 60 people. Mauro, Gabriella and Beatrice go on explaining with love their products, and showing the beauty of their region.. During spring and summer, the tastings can be organized on the winery's terrace, with a nice view on the vineyards and on the village of Vignale.

Accornero family members have been vine growers for four generations, and they still produce high quality wines with the same passion and devotion that inspired great-grandfather Bartolomeo. Bartolomeo Accornero, born in 1839, and his wife, Giuseppina Lasagna, already owners of a small agricultural holding adjacent to the present vineyard estate, had five children. Besides managing his own lands, helped by his son Giuseppe Bartolomeo also took over the management of “Palazzo dei Conti di Callori” estate (today home of Vignale Monferrato Regional wine centre). In 1897, after many years of hard work and savings, he purchased Cascina Ca’ Cima, then owned by noble chevalier Negri. The generation was then continued by Giuseppe’s son, Giovanni Battista Angelo Accornero, who married Alfonsina Coppo: from their union a child was born, Giulio Accornero, the actual owner of the estate with the wife Mariuccia and the sons Ermanno and Massimo… Ca’ Cima is situated in the pleasant countryside of Vignale Monferrato municipality and covers an area of 20 hectares, all dedicated to the cultivation of vineyards. Vineyards are organically cultivated without the use of chemical fertilisers or pesticides. The use of natural fertilisers and of products not dangerous for the environment allows soil natural phyto-sanitary defense, reducing yields but warranting high quality products.. The wine-cellar, although well-equipped with modern technology, remains faithful to traditional wine-making processes, offering typical, high quality Monferrato wines.

Nuova Cappelletta is an organic estate primarily focused on quality wine making and vineyard management. Also ‘Piemontese’ cattle breeding and cereal growing are carried out at the farm, as part of a sustainable farming approach. The farm is located in Vignale Monferrato, Italy, ad it covers 210 HA (519 acres) of hilly landscape. Of these about 20 HA (50 acres) are vineyards. The entire estate is certified for organic farming since 1984 and all its produce meets the DEMETER standards for biodynamic agriculture. According to these principles, the farm is managed for sustainability, and all activities are interconnected. As an example, culture rotation and cattle manure together with the diversified cultivations are fundamental to maintain a well balanced and sustainable land fertility.
