Come and Explore the enchanting Douro Valley with this wine tour: travel through the vines and reach Favaios, the noblest and most authentic vineyard village in the Douro Region.
The tour starts at the Century-old railway station of São Bento in the city of Porto. Here you will meet Albano Capela, a local guide that will tell you all the information that you need for this adventure and give you your train ticket for a ride to Régua (Capital of the Douro Valley). Once reached Régua, you will meet Rui (your local driver and guide) and from here you will travel in a minivan on the most beautiful road in the world to the city of Pinhão where a typical boat will be waiting for you for a one-hour boat trip on the Douro river.
After this magnificent journey, you will head to the Quinta da Avessada winery for a visit including a wine tasting and a full traditional lunch. After lunch, you will visit the most famous village in the Douro, its museum in the historic center, and its cooperative for another wine tasting.
After this visit, the minivan will take you to your hotel or accommodation in the city of Porto. Visit the most famous wine village in the Douro Valley, enjoy the local traditions and experiences, and come live unforgettable moments!
