Went here for the Harvest Festival. Found a deal on Living Social, but I have to say it's worth the full price admission. Parking was organized and simple. The landscaping is intact and cozy, and makes for a nice place to sit and relax or walk around. Located on a busy road, but is far enough back that it doesn't interfere with your enjoyment. The tasting room is small, but there are table and chairs downstairs and upstairs, on a balcony, and in the garden/patio. The building has a cozy cottage feeling and beautiful wooden floors and stairs. Restrooms downstairs and upstairs, and were clean. Took a tour of the winery, then attended a winemaking 101 session with the owner Mitzi. She's such a delight to talk to and thoroughly enjoys this business. She knows the science behind it and that makes it easier to understand and helps you appreciate your tasting session even more. I'm not a big fan of reds, but I did like their Montpelier Blush. As a fan of whites, I did take home a bottle of their Hanover White. Such a clean, crisp taste that isn't overly sweet. I like how they involve their customers with tastings, pairings, and education in such a comfortable, relaxed environment.

Wine slushie!

Found this winery at a VA wine festival and after sampling a couple meads, found them quite delicious. One I found particularly interesting was called Dragon's Breath, which was a mead with smoked hot peppers. If you enjoy honey wine and the like then this winery is right up your alley.

If you love mead, this place is perfect. Their meads are all very good and their melomel varieties are unique.

I love their wines and the staff is absolutely wonderful. I think my favorite is the Madison. When we attend the garlic and wine festival we skip all the tastings and just go straight to Hilltop for bottles to drink.

Awesome Wine and Meads has a huge variety and is a sweet wine drinkers dream come true ! Went in January and we are coming back in a week from VA Beach it was so good
