Small cave tasting room is unique for...

Small cave tasting room is unique for Amador and the outdoor area is a good place to take a break. A little hard to find. The wines are very high alcohol content (+16%) so they taste somewhat like Port. Also the wines are unfiltered. It's a good place to go for a change of pace if you like cloudy, Port-ish wine.

Good wines, relaxing atmosphere. I stop here often to pick up. Noche ans sweet louisa are great dessert choices; chardonel is interesting, also. Well worth the trip!
