Fabrizio Battaglino is a man who believe in his work and in the potentiality of his land: the ROERO. He decided to continue the family ‘s wine-making traditions. Fabrizio’s grandfather ,Riccardo Battaglino, was at the beginning of the ‘60s one of the first producers of Roero to sell bottled wine. The family traditions has then been brought on by Mario Battaglino , Fabrizio’s father , and now Fabrizio himself. The company firm its own vineyards on the hills called “ Colla” in Vezza d’Alba , Roero land, that offer excellent grapes and also wonderful view.
Here the Battaglinos grow Nebbiolo , Barbera , Arneis grapes , from which they make their wines: Roero , Roero Arneis ,Nebbiolo d'Alba ,Barbera d'Alba. All the wines are Docg and Doc. The total vineyards extension allow to be farmed entirely by the Battaglino’s and also to be carefully looked after during the whole cycle.
