Wine tasting and tour of Azienda Agricola Fuocomuorto
Our wine tasting and tour of Azienda Agricola Fuocomuorto winery was an excellent experience. Our hosts could not be any more welcoming. We had four tastings which our host very knowledgeably told which foods on our platters paired the best with the type of wines we had. We also toured the vineyard and cellar which is actually a cave made of volcanic rock and I believe it adds to the wonderful flavour of the wines.my absolute favourite was the rosé. The owner was wonderful and even arranged a taxi for our journey back to our starting point as we were a bit flummoxed as to which way we went.

A bit tough to reach but an amazing experience in a beautiful wineyard close to Vesuvio. The wines and the food as well as the hospitality were amazing. 10/10

Nous avons été ravies de cette dégustation les vins goûtés étaient excellents, les mets proposés super bons, la visite parfaite Gennaro super aimable on sent sa passion pour son Azienda ! Je recommande vivement d y faire un tour c était une merveilleuse expérience !

Very good wine tasting
We tasted excellent wine and we had a very good experience. The host speaks very good english. He was able to answer all of our questions. 10/10, highly recommend.

An amazing wine tasting experience
We really enjoyed the wine tasting and vineyard experience at Fuocomuorto, in particular the interesting history of the family run winery, the amazing wine and the beautiful views of the bay of Naples from the vineyard was a special highlight!
Gennaro provided us with a well explained vineyard tour, which he kept interesting and interactive!
For the tasting itself, we enjoyed 5 besutiful wines and pairings with some delicious Italian snacks - all of which we enjoyed immensely and we wished the two hours would not end. Overall I would say that the wine tasting experience is very good value for money and I would 100% come here again and recommend this to others.
We also bought some wine to take away with us - the Lava di Fuoco red wine (100% primitivo) in particular, is exceptional but the Don Gennaro white and the dry rose were also delicious.

Sobre la bodega y los vinos
La Granja de Fuocomuorto está situada en Herculano, en las laderas del Vesubio, dentro del Parque Nacional del Vesubio. Con una superficie de 2,5 hectáreas, la granja se dedica a la viticultura y la olivicultura. Los viñedos, que se benefician del suelo volcánico y del clima suave, producen los renombrados vinos Vesuvio DOC, como el Lacryma Christi blanco y el tinto. La finca cuenta también con una bodega histórica construida en 1780, donde los vinos se envejecen de forma natural. Además, Fuocomuorto ofrece alojamiento y desayuno y una sala de catas para los huéspedes.
La Granja Fuocomuorto está especializada en la producción de vinos Vesuvio DOC, como el Lacryma Christi blanco y el tinto, este último también disponible en versión envejecida en barrica. También producen Caprettone IGT Pompeiano. Las uvas se cultivan exclusivamente en las terrazas de la granja, beneficiándose del suelo volcánico y el clima únicos de la zona del Vesubio. Los vinos se envejecen en una cueva natural bajo roca volcánica, lo que garantiza unas condiciones óptimas de maduración. La granja también produce aceite de oliva virgen extra de sus olivos centenarios.
