Château Grange Cochard invites you to a total immersion in the world of wine in the spirit of our building from 1759. We offer you the sale of wine at the estate as well as numerous activities on the theme of wine: a visit to the cellars, a tasting, a meal in the vineyards or an oenological stay.

The tastings commented by our sommelier are an excellent opportunity to discover Château Grange Cochard, its wines and its vineyard, to learn about our winemaking and maturing methods and to taste the different vintages.

Château Grange Cochard is an estate respectful of the terroir and the environment. We are currently in the process of conversion to organic farming to produce natural and authentic red wines that highlight the potential of some of the best vines in the region. Our vineyard of 9.5ha in the Morgon appellation is a place where small quantities of fine red wine are made by hand. We use exclusively grapes grown from our own vineyard, and from vine to bottle, everything is done on the estate. The great majority of our vines are over 40 years old although many have been growing for almost a century. They give us low yields of high quality small grapes bursting with structure, flavour and elegant tannins.

Château Grange Cochard is four distinct cuvées with different styles, hand-made with the same love and care: Côte du Py, Les Charmes, Le Plateau and Samantha. The grape for all of them is 100% Gamay Noir à Jus Blanc, the traditional variety of the region, and all four are exclusively appellation Morgon.
