Sobre la bodega y los vinos

Colle del Bricco was born in 2013 from my passion for wine and my territory: Oltrepò Pavese. My family, before me, had 3 ectars but they sold grapes just for hobby...i decided to take that 3 ectars and put in bottles. I started with 3 ectars of my family and now i have 7 ectars. From the beginning my "motto" has been: more work in the vineyard and less in the cellar... with the aim of making natural, no-frills wines that express the vintage and the area where they were born. In vineyard i am organic.

Khione 2021 (goddes of snow in ancient greece mythology), 100% riesling italico, only steel tank, no selected yeasts, no clarification, no filtration. The harvest is divided in 2 part, one anticipated to have more acidity and one in the normal period to have more body. Assembled 50 and 50. Fruity and fresh.

 

Borea 2021 (the wind of the North, the coldest, in ancient greece mythology) Sparkling Ancestrale, 100% riesling italico, only steel tank, no selected yeasts, no clarification, no filtration. The harvest is divided in 2 part, one anticipated to have more acidity and one in the normal period to have more body. I freeze a part of the juice for the 2nd fermentation in bottle. Fruity and fresh but with bubbles.

 

Ons 2021(one night stand, because in the beginning the idea was one night of skin contact), Sauvignon Blanc 100% macerato (orange), only steel tank and 15 days of skin contact. The idea is loose a part of the typical smell of sauvignon with skin contact and have more body.

 

Stafilo 2016 (it means "grape" in ancient greece), barbera 100%, only steel tank (4 years) and 1 year in bottle.i wanted to try to age wine without the smell of the oak or other wood so i choose the steel.

 

Makedon 2019 Bonarda sparkling, croatina 100%, only steel tank.

 

Agrios 2018 Bonarda, croatina 100%, only steel tank.

 

Ikaros 2021 Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir 100%, 1 years in French Oak Tonneaux.

 

Kerberos 2019 (kerberos was the guardian dog of the Inferno in ancient freece mythology and with 3 heads...buttafuoco is made by 3 type of grapes), buttafuoco DOC, croatina (our local grape, full of tannins) 50%...barbera (typical for acidity) 35%...vespolina (our local grape, full of pepper smell) 15%. 2 years in french oak tonneaux.
