Essential Wine Tasting of Garda Classics at Poggio delle Grazie
Here is what's in store for you
Upon arrival at Poggio delle Grazie, you'll be welcomed by a member of the family – usually Elisabetta or her daughter, Benedetta. They will share the story of their winery and the unique character of their territory, located just south of Lake Garda.
The tasting takes place on the outdoor terrace, with a view over the family's vineyards. Here, your host will guide you through a sensory tasting of three wines, helping you connect the aromas in the glass to the landscape around you. You will sample a Custoza DOC, a Bardolino Chiaretto DOC, and the La Rocca Bardolino DOC cru, each paired with artisanal baked goods.
If the weather is poor, the experience moves inside to the winery's wine shop. This is a family-friendly tasting; children are welcome and will be offered organic fruit juice. There is also a dedicated play corner for them, with games and books suitable for ages 2 to 10.

As for the wines, my girlfriend and I were more than satisfied, so much so that we brought two bottles home as a souvenir.
The purchase included a “walk in the gardens” which, however, did not take place.
