Family Wine Tasting at Chielisò Winery in Alto Monferrato

The Chielisò family welcomes you to their winery in Cassine, in the heart of Alto Monferrato, for an experience designed for all ages. A member of the family will guide you through a 30-minute walk through the vineyards, covering about 500 meters, where you'll learn about the landscape and viticulture of the area.

Next, you'll tour the winery for another 30 minutes to see the production process. The experience culminates in the tasting room, air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter.

Here, you will enjoy a seated, guided tasting of three wines of your choice from the Chielisò selection. You can choose from Barbera d'Asti, Barbera del Monferrato, Dolcetto d'Acqui, Syrah, Monferrato Chiaretto (rosé), Cortese dell'Alto Monferrato (white), or Moscato Spumante Extra Brut. Each wine is paired with a local specialty, with three pairings in total.

Depending on the season, you might taste Robiola di Roccaverano DOP, local cheeses, Salame, Filetto Baciato, or bruschetta with seasonal vegetables. While the adults enjoy the tasting, children and teenagers from 5 to 17 can join in outdoor games and creative workshops. A qualified leader with experience in outdoor education supervises the fun, which concludes with a sweet or savory snack and water. The sweet snack includes a homemade pie or cake, while the savory snack includes a focaccia or bruschetta and some chips.
