Your experience at Villa Cerna begins in the heart of the Chianti Classico region with a guided walk through the estate's vineyards. You'll be accompanied by an expert sommelier, who will then lead you into the cellars. Here, you will learn about Villa Cerna's production philosophy and the winemaking practices behind their Tuscan wines.
The tour continues in the estate's wine shop for a guided tasting. You will sample three representative labels: the Corti del Podestà Vernaccia di San Gimignano, the Primocolle Chianti Classico, and the Villa Cerna Chianti Classico Riserva. The tasting is paired with Villa Cerna’s own extra virgin olive oil, focaccia, and balsamic vinegar. For younger participants, non-alcoholic drinks are available as an alternative.

Cecchi Wine Tasting
Super nice experience within the Tuscany center at Famiglia Cecchi. Despite we were the only guests booked this slot, the welcome was super friendly. We got a tour through the production and harvest of Chianti was in full swing. Afterwards we could taste some white and red wine from their own production ranges in Tuscany area with bread and fantastic olive oil. We got some valuable information about the region, production and different wine quality ranges. All in all a nice experience within one of the most famous wine regions in the world.

Winery Visit
The grounds and the area are a real delight for lovers of nature and of the Tuscan aroma.
The team that attended to us at Villa Cerna was very attentive and kind to us, they assisted us at all times and helped to modify the reservation, since the day we had it scheduled we missed it by our own mistake…
If there is something we would like to point out, it is that the tour seemed brief to us, we thought it would be more extensive and that we would taste more wines, but I understand that the change of day could have led to some things not being done.
Nevertheless, we appreciate the attention received.

Overall, the tour of the grounds and vineyard was super relaxing, had fantastic views, and gave us a great idea of all that goes into making a bottle of wine and balsamic vinegar.
Our guide was fantastic as well. The wine tasting options were great, as well as the focaccia and balsamic vinegar. Would highly recommend! For the price point, in my honest opinion, the tour cannot be beat.
