Very disappointing. Booked for a 50th birthday...
Very disappointing. Booked for a 50th birthday Sunday lunch. Service was not bad, just simply non-existent. Not acknowledged on arrival and waited for over half an hour before any wait staff attended our table. Left a poor impression on us all and could not recommend. By no means inexpensive and by no means value for money. The food and menu was very average, and for a special occasion, there was nothing special about it. The restaurant and setting are nice enough but not enough to compensate for the complete lack of service and underwhelming food.

Beautiful lunch sitting in the courtyard. Had satay chicken, salt & pepper squid (with tasty spicy sauce) and bruschetta (3 varieties). All dishes were delicious. Very relaxed and kid friendly as well

Really nice, relaxed cellar door, which is actually a converted old barn/horse stables by the look of it. Very large inside and with some modern features (such as decent heating) is a great place to have lunch.
Speaking of lunch - it was excellent!! Delicious food was had by all, and of course they have the wines to complement.
Child friendly, so highly recommended.

I'm usually sceptical when it comes to...
I'm usually sceptical when it comes to platters, especially those priced at $38. We rolled the dice on Sunday and ordered up two to share between 4 people and, after competing in the King Valley Challenge, we were hungry!! What was brought to the table was great. Pity there's no ability to upload a photo to go with this review. Quality of food was fantastic and plenty of it. Coupled with a bottle of Gracebrook Sangiovese sitting out in the sun, a beautiful, relaxing afternoon was had by all.
