Here is what's in store for you
Experience a truly enriching day by embarking on a private tour of the picturesque Loire Valley. This region boasts Europe's most celebrated castles, designated as UNESCO World Heritage sites, and an array of remarkable wines to savor.
Your adventure begins in the morning as your guide collects you and your group from your hotel in Paris. You'll then set out on a roughly 2-hour journey south of Paris, accompanied by the delightful aroma of fresh croissants. As you approach the stunning Château de Chambord, your guide will regale you with fascinating insights into the region's history. A self-guided audio tour within the grand castle will unveil the captivating stories behind this architectural marvel, constructed over 500 years ago by King Francis 1st of France.
Following this, you'll enjoy a drive along the river, passing by other splendid castles. Your lunch will be a culinary delight, either in a charming winery or a local restaurant, expertly paired with dishes crafted from fresh regional ingredients. Take advantage of this opportunity to discover more about wine and French culture by asking your guide all the questions you like.
After a well-deserved break, you'll be treated to splendid panoramic views. Depending on the weather and timing, you might make stops at your guide's favorite vineyard locations, where you'll gain insights into the art of vine cultivation during a wild tasting. You'll also visit an estate that produces globally acclaimed wines. Naturally, your journey concludes with a wine tasting session, encompassing a wide range of wines. Your guide will then ensure your safe return to your hotel in the early evening.
