The experience begins with a guided tour at Recchia Vini, located in the heart of Negrar di Valpolicella. From the panoramic terrace overlooking the historic valley, you’ll discover the unique features of this prestigious wine region and gain insight into various traditional winemaking techniques that Recchia Vini has preserved for generations.

You will then be guided through the stainless steel fermentation tanks and into the atmospheric oak barrel cellar, where Recchia Vini carefully ages its wines to bring out their full character. The tour concludes in the “fruttai” – specialized rooms dedicated to the ancient appassimento method used for drying grapes, a signature of Valpolicella winemaking.

The experience finishes with a tasting of 5 wines, accompanied by artisanal breadsticks and taralli, bread with our own extra virgin olive oil, and a curated selection of local cheeses. To complete the journey, enjoy traditional dry pastries paired with our sweet wine.

Cantina Recchia, a guarantee

We arrive at the chosen winery as we have a friend in Florence with the surname Recchia, we are very early, we settle in outside where under two olive trees there is a beautiful wooden table and an old tractor resting in the shade after years of honorable service. The atmosphere is wonderful, a lovely young lady (Romina) appears who greets us warmly and asks if she can offer us something, we ask for a rosé and a white, she arrives with a tray with the wines, water and breadsticks. It's time for the winery tour, Romina explains the stages to us and we visit the winery through its various steps, very beautiful but above all it is thanks to Romina's expertise and kindness that the visit is particularly pleasant. We move on to the tasting of a full 5 wines accompanied by cheeses, focaccia and breadsticks, a truly rich and very pleasant tasting. We finish by purchasing several wines that we will enjoy at home.
