A gem in Lexington. Easily the best local winery, and if you're sneering

We have been dinning there many times. Last night 9.25.15 we went their with two guests. Made my reservation few days early for their enclosed patio. They gave us a table on the corner beside a big party . We asked our waiter if we can change our table to a better table because the people beside us were loud and our table was in the corner by the wall with no view. He said they are fully booked. The manager also came after 10 minutes to ask me what the problem was . She was short and was not helpful at all. Finally after being there for 25 minutes and having one of our appetizer the waiter said if we like to change our table we can. We changed our table and after being there for 2 hours we noticed that few of their tables were empty the entire time. The food was average this time and the waiter did forget to bring one of our appetizer. Because of the way we were treated by the manager and where lied to, I will never go back and will tell all my friends about our experience.

Harky Edwards presented five of his wines at a recent tasting at Windy Corner Restaurant near Lexington, Kentucky. The tasting and the wines were delightful. Four of the wines are made with grapes grown at Harkness Edwards Vineyards or Kentucky. These are the most interesting, delicious Kentucky-made wines I have tasted.

What a surprise! Jeff was so kind to show us his work space, talk politics and religion-all over a great glass of wine. It's a must see (and taste! )

Nice place. Good wine. Nice people. They guy playing banjo on the porch was good, but the one on guitar needs some work.

I had my wedding here! And it was perfect! I'd do it again any time, and not only are the people, the venue, and the wine amazing....She does catering! Her name is Carlyle and she made amazing food, i got compliments on it all night! The rehearsal dinner and my wedding food, all from her and all great and very reasonably priced. She thought of everything, and did absolutely everything. Things i figured i'd need to get done were already done and my day was stress free! The rest of the staff is very helpful, super pleasant, and great to work with. Do yourself a favor and stop by for dinner, wine, or for a venue for a wedding.
