I visited the winery during the summer and loved it! Tommy and his wife are so friendly. The wine is amazing, and I would also highly recommend trying their wine slushies. They have all kinds of fruit wine, and some really creative wines like honeysuckle and dandelion as well. Definitely visit them if you are in the area or try their wine if you see it in a store!

I always enjoy coming here and bringing my friends and family... But, recently we had reservations for our 30th wedding anniversary for the Murder Mystery Dinner, which was on the same night as our anniversary... this event was cancelled the night before the dinner... I am still waiting for a full refund for this event...

Went for the chocolat and wine event. The band Rocksteady was great and wine was delicious.

Very pretty drive! The winery itself is charming and we found the wines tasty. The only complaint (a very mild one at that!) was the service. Our guy was also waiting on a group that was having a wedding there in the spring. We felt like we were a bit of a bother to him. Maybe they should consider a few more hands on deck for a busy Saturday.

Best Vineyard in Kentucky!

Equus Run features beautiful grounds, a charming little tasting room, and friendly staff. Some of their wines fell a little outside what my wife and I would consider accurate representations of their varietals, but they had 2 or 3 wines that I would consider purchasing. They had a nice vintner's reserve Zin we both enjoyed. The staff may have a bit to learn about wine yet, as we did overhear one employee give some incorrect information to a novice taster next to us, but we didn't butt in or correct them since it seemed like they were still learning themselves (aren't we all?). Overall, a tasting at Equus Run is a pleasant experience - much as one might expect from a small winery in a rural area, the staff was friendly and accommodating and they did have several wines that were quite nice. We bought a bottle of their Cab blush and enjoyed it outside on a warm day along with some really killer wine-infused cheese spread that may or may not be made onsite. I think we would go back if we're in this area again.

Elk Creek has a lovely set-up. The veiws are breath taking and very relaxing. It is in the middle of nowhere, which was part of the point to me. The wine is fantastic, please try the cab. However, the accommodations were somewhat sub par. There were several imperfections in the rooms (such as the sink not having the appropriate knobs, some of the blinds on the door were broken, etc.). I took the tour which was free, however I would have paid $5-$10 to have a knowledgable tour guide. I felt like the poor thing was all over the place on the discussion and didn't really know much about the processes. The staff were overall nice, but the customer service side of things could be enhanced to give a better experience to customers. I had the Margherita pizza at dinner & it was so good! I have been to several vineyards but this was my favorite, Very beautiful. Food was excellent and the wine tasting was wonderful. Will definitely come back
