La nostra profonda passione per l'agricoltura e la coltivazione dell'uva attraversa le generazioni. Dopo aver prodotto uva per decenni, nel 2014 abbiamo fondato la Cantina Canaio, concentrandoci sulla produzione dei nostri vini. Situata a Cortona, la nostra tenuta coltiva prevalentemente Syrah, con una piccola parte dedicata al Merlot. La nostra cantina è ospitata in una casa di campagna splendidamente restaurata che appartiene alla nostra famiglia fin dal 1600. Il nome "Canaio" onora un antenato noto per il suo amore per la caccia e per i suoi numerosi segugi.

Podere il Fitto è un'azienda agricola a conduzione familiare che ha iniziato a piantare le sue prime viti negli anni '70. Situata nella zona di Cortona D.O.C., l'azienda si estende per 15 ettari, con vigneti, uliveti e seminativi. Il principale vitigno coltivato è il Syrah, insieme al Sangiovese e al Colorino. Le pratiche dell'azienda si concentrano sui metodi tradizionali, tra cui la potatura, il diradamento e la selezione delle uve, tutti eseguiti con un profondo rispetto per l'ambiente e il ritmo naturale della terra.

Tenimenti d’Alessandro is an historic winery in the Val di Chiana. After years of research, we are realizing Syrah true vocation for Cortona terroir that perfectly express the optimal relationship between the soil and the vine. Everyday we celebrate a profound connection with this enchanting land through the rigorous pursuit of excellence. This mission requires a complete dedication to the vineyards followed by accurate winemaking techniques, looking for the highest expression of Cortona wines. Tenimenti d’Alessandro is also a place where to experience first-hand the harvest, sharing efforts and satisfactions with winemakers and vintners, right to the creation of a great wine. The only treatments implemented in the vineyards are the ones based on sulfur and copper. Then, just light processing up to the cellar, where we respect the variety and the local characteristics of both must and wine. We have an holistic and "customized" idea of each grapevine, looked after in order to self-regulate the growth and to prevent diseases. For this reason, since the harvest of 2013, we work in accordance with the organic principles, and in 2016, after a three-year phase of conversion, the company will obtain an organic certification. The land has already proved itself incline to change. A micro-biological "resurrection" of soil and a physiological rebirth of plants made the green of leaves brighter, the soil damper and inhabited, the clusters more autonomous, combative, balanced. The best answer we could expect, which motivates the desire to work a vital land and gather rich grapes in order to be respectfully transformed into wine. The name BALDETTI is strongly linked to Tuscany and in particular to the territory of Cortona and the love for the land, handed down from generation to generation, has always been a firm point for the family. Viticulture, which in the company already covered an important activity, starting from the late 60s had a strong impulse when Mario Baldetti, father of the current tenant, carried out the total renovation of the existing vineyards. Vinification took place in the company cellar which was equipped with modern technology (for the time). The wine produced was then sold to merchants until, in the early 70s, the ``Bianco Vergine della Valdichiana`` DOC was born, which also marked the beginning of the production of bottled wine. Since 2000, in conjunction with the birth of the new DOC CORTONA, the company has renewed the vineyards in compliance with the most up-to-date wine-growing technique, focusing above all on Syrah which over the years would have become the reference grape for all the producers in the area. 2012 marked a fundamental year for the family, in fact the works for the creation of the new winery were completed, also in Località Pietraia, strongly desired by Alfonso Baldetti and his two sons Daniele and Gian Luca, who in the meantime joined the 'Company thus creating the conditions for a rosy future full of satisfactions.

The Baracchi Estate is located on a beautiful hill with a wonderful view of the Valdichiana Valley, Under the Tuscan Sun. Riccardo, with his son Benedetto, strongly desired to join the world of hospitality, good cuisine and wellness with the production of great wines linked by energy and passion to continue the family tradition of grape growing and grape-growing, which began in 1860, adding now a modern and high quality character. The Winery “IVITI” was founded in 2013, but it bases its roots in the past when, in the ’50, Pietro and Lidio Viti decided to buy a farm in Cortona Etruscan heart of TUSCANY. In 2008 Enrico and Luca Viti planted the vineyard, a project that grew whit the construction of the cellar. The Winery has 6Ha,2 of which for the vineyard, 0,70 of land with olive trees for the production of oil while the rest are dedicated to cereal crops. The logo describes the infinite bond between the Viti family and the Cortona territory where the company is guided by the soul and the spirit of a young business owner who grew up with the authentic character of the TUSCAN farmer.
