Discover the Origins of Valpolicella: A Guided Vineyard Experience at Gianluca Fugolo Winery
Start your journey with a guided walk through the vineyards, where you’ll uncover the roots of Valpolicella’s traditions and history. This immersive experience begins in our historical vineyard and connects to our orchard, offering a unique opportunity to touch and pick ripe peaches directly from the trees during the summer months (June to August). You’ll visit a vineyard planted in 1967 and explore vines discovered by the Fugolo family that are over 100 years old.
This experience takes you deep into the heart of Valpolicella, introducing you to its landscapes, heritage, and winemaking traditions. Sofia, the daughter of Gianluca Fugolo, will lead the wine tasting, sharing her family's passion for their winery. Together with her father and sister, she carefully manages the family’s agricultural estate.
The experience concludes with a tasting of our premium extra virgin olive oil, produced on the morainic hills of Lake Garda, and 5 exceptional wines:

To complement the tasting, you’ll enjoy a platter of local cold cuts, cheeses, and house-made jams. During the summer, you can also choose a refreshing cold dish of pesto pasta with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella.

Fantastic discovery
Quality of the wine, presentation and preparation of the Wine Tour, excellent.

Wonderful experience
We had so much fun during our girls' getaway!
We know it might not be possible and could interrupt the flow of the business, but it was raining a lot that day and we just wanted to buy a bottle of wine and stay there talking for maybe one more hour. We were having such a great time that we wanted to extend it as much as possible!
