Discover the flavors of Umbrian cuisine combined with the scents and intense flavors typical of SAIO Assisi's Umbrian wines with this food and wine experience.

Embark on a food and wine journey that will take you to discover Assisi and its traditions. This experience at the SAIO Assisi Winery allows you to enjoy a relaxed lunch break accompanied by a tasting of fruity and intense white and red wines.
The lunch menu includes a selection of 5 SAIO Assisi wines; Bruschetta with SAIO extra virgin olive oil, Chickpea and sun-dried cherry tomato salad or Lentils from Castelluccio di Norcia, Medium aged artisanal Pecorino cheese, Artisanal Caciotta cheese with black summer truffle, Artisanal Torta al testo, Artisanal typical Umbrian cold cuts, Artisanal Costano suckling pig, Traditional Umbrian dessert, Mineral water. A variation of the menu for celiacs or vegetarians is available on request.

After lunch, you will be welcome to enjoy a walk through the scenic vineyards following the wine and viticulture information boards while enjoying breathtaking views of Assisi. A lunch break that can be well combined with a visit to Assisi and the many surrounding small villages to discover in Umbria, the green heart of Italy.

A lovely wine tasting experience

We enjoyed our tasting. The host was very knowledgeable about the wines and the broader region. The wines are lovely and we were invited to walk the vineyards which have amazing views of Assisi.

Siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti dalla professionalità e dalla disponibilità del personale.
Degustazione spiegata in maniera chiara e completa , accompagnata da un aperitivo abbondante pieno di prelibatezze locali.
Infine la passeggiata tra i vigneti al tramonto è stato qualcosa di mozzafiato, consiglio veramente l’esperienza!
