Wine Tasting & Tapas and Winery Museum Tour at Manzwine in Cheleiros

Your experience at Manzwine begins with an introduction to the village of Cheleiros and the winery's project.

A member of the hospitality team will guide you first through the on-site museum and the old wine press, then into the cellar to explain how harvesting, vinification, and aging shape the wines. The tour focuses on Jampal, a rare grape variety central to Manzwine’s story, and how the estate works with three distinct Portuguese wine regions to create its diverse range.

The visit concludes in the tasting room or on the terrace for a guided tasting of six wines: Manz Rosé, Dona Fátima White, Platónico Reserva, Pomar do Espírito Santo Reserva, Contador de Estórias, and Manz Douro. Your guide will introduce the fundamentals of sensory analysis as you explore their aromas and flavors.

The wines are served with a platter of regional products, including aged cow’s and sheep’s milk cheeses, salpicão from Trás-os-Montes, painho from Alentejo, fruit compote, Portuguese extra virgin olive oil, herb-seasoned olives, traditional Mafra bread, and regional dry cakes with seasonal fruit.
