The True Essence Tasting & Tour at Manzwine in Cheleiros

Your experience at Manzwine begins in the village of Cheleiros, in the Lisbon wine region. The estate's hospitality team will introduce you to the village's history and to the Manzwine project.

You'll first visit the on-site museum and see the old wine press. From there, your guide will walk you through the winery, explaining the harvesting, winemaking, and aging processes, and how the distinct terroir of each region shapes the final wine.

The experience continues in the tasting room or on the terrace, with the setting chosen by the winery. Your guide will lead you through an introduction to sensory analysis to help you explore the aromas and flavors of the six Manzwine wines you'll sample.

The lineup includes a rosé, a white, and four reds from three different Portuguese regions: Manz Rosé, the Dona Fátima white made from the rare native Jampal grape, Platónico Reserva, Pomar do Espírito Santo Reserva, Contador de Estórias, and Manz Douro. Your tasting is accompanied by traditional bread from Mafra and Portuguese extra virgin olive oil.
