Led by your private professional chef, this hands-on class offers an immersive journey into the techniques, traditions, and soul of Southern Italian cuisine.
Before the class begins, you will be welcomed with a glass of local wine, enjoyed outdoors in a serene rural setting that reflects the timeless charm of Apulia, where nature, tradition, and warm hospitality come together. Using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients, many of them produced directly at the masseria, you will learn how Apulian families have cooked for generations.
The experience starts with the preparation of traditional Apulian bread, discovering the secrets behind its rustic crust, irresistible aroma, and soft interior. You will then dive into the heart of the experience: handmade fresh pasta. Guided step by step, you will knead, shape, and master three iconic Apulian pasta formats: orecchiette, cavatelli, and strascinati.
Using the pasta you have created yourself, you will prepare a traditional first course, paired with seasonal ingredients and local products. At the end of the class, you will sit down to enjoy the dishes you’ve prepared together, accompanied by farmhouse specialties and local wine, completing an authentic and convivial Apulian food experience.
