The Ceramida winery is located 400 meters above sea level on the stunning Costa Viola, a coastal territory between the municipalities of Palmi, Bagnara Calabra and Scilla, on the Tyrrhenian side of Calabria, where the Aspromonte mountain range reaches the Tyrrhenian Sea opposite the Strait of Messina.
This guided tour starts with an introduction to the world of viticulture with a focus on the planted vines, training systems, and winemaking traditions of the area. You will walk among the rows of Zibibbo, Calabrese Nero (Nero d'Avola), Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay and learn about the various training systems and peculiarities of each grape variety. You will also visit an ancient vineyard, bred with the traditional alberello system.
Here, with a panoramic view over the Tyrrhenian sea, you will taste four different wines of our own production, accompanied by a tasting of typical local products such as Pizza di Pellegrina, Bruschette di pane di Pellegrina, typical local cold cuts, N'duja di Spilinga, Piparelli (typical sweets of the Costa Viola).
Enjoy a special aperitivo surrounded by panoramic scenery, with the sunlight shimmering over the sea and the Aeolian Islands.

Fantastic morning at the vineyard
The vineyard is beautiful ,with a great view on the sea and a beautiful landscape. The owner explained in great detail how the wine is cultivated and answered all our questions. Afterwards we tasted the wines with a pariring of some local food. Both were fantastic and we even brought some of the wine back home. The owner helped us to send the wine home. The overall tour took about 3 hours and was definitely worth our time!! Thank you!
