Here is what's in store for you

Enjoy a relaxing and scenic picnic experience in the vineyards of Casale 120, located in Contrada Picciolo, with sweeping views of Mount Etna. This self-guided experience invites guests to explore the historic vineyard at their own pace, choosing from seven unique picnic spots – ranging from family-friendly corners and shaded areas under fruit trees, to romantic hideaways or elevated viewpoints overlooking the vines and surrounding mountains.

Before starting out, you will be welcomed by the owners with one of the estate's wines. Upon arrival, it's possible to select a favorite bottle of Etna Bianco or Etna Rosso, available for purchase separately to pair with the picnic. A picnic basket filled with local specialties from the Etna region will be provided, including cold cuts from the Nebrodi mountains, local seasonal vegetable specialties, nuts, and extra-virgin olive oil from the estate, and served with fresh wood-fired bread.

For the children, the picnic basket will come with a kids' Etna vineyard quiz.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und herzlich. In familiärer Umgebung( im Wohn- Esszimmer) bekamen wir einen Begrüßungswein und sie erzählte über ihren Wein, die Lage am Etna und ihre Winzerei. Anschlüsse gab es einen Korb mit Gläser und einer Decke und eine Kühltasche. Wir durften uns im Weinberg selber einen Platz aussuchen um zu picknicken. Wir entscheiden uns für einen alten großen Feigenbaum mit einem Tisch und Stühlen und freien Blick auf den Spuckenden Etna. Die Tasche war reichlich mit allerlei leckeren Antipasti bestückt. Da blieb kein Wunsch offen. Es war so wunderschön und wir waren ganz allein. Hatten auch keine Zeitangabe bekommen wann wir wieder abreisen sollen. Der Wein war sehr lecker. Nach 2,30 Stunden und vier Flaschen Wein sind wir wieder zurück gefahren. Vielen Dank für ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.
