Barolo-ing
Tasting of Barolos from the Dosio Vigneti Winery, we visited the winery led by the sommelier, he explained the geographical situation, the historical evolution of the area and the winery and its future, afterwards we tasted the single-vineyard Barolos, different vintages and finished with a 2013 Barolo, good explanation of them, it felt short, we were left wanting more. The wines are very well made, the 2020s were vibrant red fruit and a balance of acidity, tannin and alcohol, they were already very enjoyable, good wines and a good tasting room.

Truffles and great wine
When I booked this experience I wasn’t sure how it would go and it was definitely better than I expected. Upon arrival we were greeted and offered a coffee and then set out with a few other couples to the woods to watch the dog work to find truffles in the woods. He was quite successful and we found several truffles. Then we went back to the winery where we dined on some special dishes paired with great wine. Our host was charming and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend this adventure!
