Soave & Valpolicella Wine Tasting with Local Food at Corte Adami in Soave
Here is what's in store for you
Your visit to Corte Adami begins in the vineyard, where a member of the Adami family will welcome you and guide you through the rows of vines. From there, you'll head inside the estate to see the spaces where their Soave wines are made and aged.
The experience concludes in the tasting room on the upper floor of the wineshop. Here, at a table overlooking the castle of Soave, you will taste five wines that showcase the two great terroirs of the Verona area.
The tasting is guided and progressive, starting with fresh whites and building to powerful reds.
You'll begin with two Soave whites, made from the local Garganega grape, known for its notes of white flowers, almond, and a distinct savory, saline finish.
Next, you will sample two Valpolicella reds, a blend led by Corvina and Corvinone, offering bright sour-cherry fruit and a clean finish.
The flight culminates with an Amarone della Valpolicella. Produced using the *appassimento* method, where grapes are dried for months before pressing, this is a full-bodied dry red with notes of dark cherry, dried fig, and spice.
To accompany the wines, you'll be served a board of local specialties, including Veronese cured meats like soppressa and cheeses from the nearby Monti Lessini, such as MonteVeronese.
This tasting offers a complete journey through the volcanic hills of Soave and the classic reds of Valpolicella, all in one family estate.
