Here is what's in store for you
Your tour begins at the Mulino delle Saline Ettore e Infersa, where you'll board a traditional boat for a cruise on the Stagnone Lagoon. You'll be hosted by the boat's captain and the hospitality manager from Cantina Birgi, who will guide the tasting. As the sun sets over the historic salt pans and windmills, you will navigate the calm waters of the lagoon.
The tasting features two sparkling wines from the winery: a Perricone Rosato and a Lucido. To accompany the wines, you'll receive a gourmet box with a Sicilian savory specialty, a small tuna and lemon sandwich, salted almonds, and puff pastry with anchovies and olives. For everyone's safety, life jackets are provided for the trip across the sheltered lagoon waters. A fruit juice alternative is available for participants under the legal drinking age.
