Tasting of Teroldego at Andrea Martinelli's Winery

The A. Martinelli winery welcomes you for this wine experience in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana, an area historically suited to viticulture due to its climatic and geological characteristics.

For five generations our family has been engaged in the production of fine wines in Trentino. In recent years, we've undergone a phase of major restoration projects to marry modern technology to tradition and breathe new life into the historic Cantina, which has been processing wine for nearly 1,000 years. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to visit these rooms furnished with all the original equipment of yesteryear.

Discover how our Teroldego is produced, born at the edge of the winery in its historic vineyards. The grapes are allowed to ripen as best they can, thinned out to obtain a ready and concentrated selection for processing. In the aging phase in our ancient barrique cellar, the choice was made to use tonneaux and large barrels to allow the Teroldego to best express its varietal characteristics. After twenty-four months, the wine is ready to be bottled, where it matures for another twelve months before sale.

After the guided tour, you will enjoy a tasting of our 3 Classic Teroldego wines, followed by a tasting of our Single Barrel Teroldego and our Maso Chini selection. If you'd like, you can choose to accompany the wines with a selection of local cheeses and jams of our production.
