Your experience at Rosset Terroir begins in Quart, where a professional sommelier will welcome you. The visit starts with the story of the winery and its philosophy, explaining how the unique mountain terroir of the Aosta Valley shapes the wines.
The tour continues through the production area and into the barrel cellar. You will see the stainless steel tanks and the traditional *orci*, clay vessels used for aging, for a complete overview of the winemaking process.
After the tour, you will take a seat in the tasting room for a guided tasting of four wines from the winery's classic range, selected based on seasonal availability.
The selection may include reds like the structured Trasor Cornalin, from one of the Aosta Valley's most emblematic native grapes, or an elegant Nebbiolo. The whites could feature the fresh, mineral Prémisse Petite Arvine or the aromatic Chambave Muscat.
The tasting is paired with a platter of Aosta Valley specialties. You will sample local cheeses like Fontina and Toma Valdostana, and traditional charcuterie such as "mocetta", a lean dried meat, and "boudin", a spiced sausage.
For younger participants, local apple juice is served with the same food pairing, offering a direct connection to the alpine food and wine culture of the region.

Where we are and how to reach us
Rosset Terroir is located at the same property as Distillerie St. Roch – Levi – Ottoz, at Loc. Torrent de Maillod, 4, 11020 Quart (AO), Italy. On arrival, look for the building with its distinctive corten steel façade. Enter through the main gate and follow the signs toward Rosset Terroir. The entrance is easy to recognize thanks to the amphora positioned in front of the door.
Free parking is available approximately 50 metres from the entrance. Guests travelling with an electric vehicle can also use the on-site charging station free of charge. The location can be reached by public transport, but travelling by private car or taxi is recommended for a smoother and more convenient arrival.
